Statue on guard again

The Fighting Seabee Statue is returned to its post at the Seabee Museum and Memorial Park in Davisville yesterday. It had been taken down for restoration and repainting. At left, Seabee veteran Robert Schwab, of North Kingstown, volunteers his time to weld the statue to its base. Taking a closer look, at right, is Ava LaBonte, 2, and Gene Shea, both of North Kingstown.
