Meetings on health reform

PROVIDENCE — Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts will be going around the state to talk about her health-care reform plan, which includes eight bills introduced in the General Assembly.
The first meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at Ada’s Creations, 1137 Broad St., Providence.
“I’m very excited to bring my ideas out of the State House and into community gathering places across the state like Ada’s to listen to the concerns, thoughts and ideas of Rhode Islanders and share with them my vision for a healthy Rhode Island — a Rhode Island where everyone has access to high quality health care at a cost they can afford,” Roberts said in a news release.
The schedule of community meetings, which will start at 6:30 p.m., is as follows:
April 14: Phillips Street Hall, 51 North Phillips St., East Providence
April 16: West Warwick Senior Center, 10 Factory St., West Warwick
April 21: Cranston Central Library, 140 Sockanosset Cross Road, Cranston
April 28: Temple Beth El, 70 Orchard St., Providence
April 30: Thundermist Health Center, 450 Clinton St., Woonsocket
May 5: Johnston Senior Center, 1291 Hartford Ave., Johnston
May 7: Warren Senior Center, 12 Libby Lane, Warren
May 12: Pawtucket Public Library, 13 Summer St., Pawtucket
May 15: Warwick Public Library central branch, 600 Sandy Lane, Warwick
May 20: Westerly Public Library, 44 Broad St., Westerly
May 22: Smithfield Senior Center, 1 William J. Hawkins Trail, Greenville
May 28: South Kingstown Chamber of Commerce, 230 Old Tower Hill Rd., Wakefield
June 2: Wanskuck Boys and Girls Club, 550 Branch Ave., Providence
June 4: Newport Hospital, 11 Friendship St., Newport
June 5: Cumberland Town Hall, Council Chambers, 580 Broad St., Cumberland.
