Hurricane shelters

The state has the use of 26 Red Cross-approved hurricane shelters that will house evacuees during a storm. Here's where they are located:
Barrington
One: Primrose Hill School.
East Greenwich
Two: Swift Gym and East Greenwich High School.
East Providence
Two: Riverside Middle School and East Providence High School.
Middletown
Two: Joseph H. Gaudet Middle School and Middletown High School.
Narragansett
One: Pier Middle School
North Kingstown
One: Wickford Middle School.
Pawtucket
Five: E. Baldwin Elementary School; Curwin McCabe Elementary School; Nathanael Greene Elementary School; Jenks Junior High School; and F.J. Varieur Elementary School.
Portsmouth
One: Portsmouth High School.
Providence
Five: Hope High School; Alfred Lima School; Springfield Middle School; B. Jae Clanton School; and Mount Pleasant High School.
Richmond
One: Chariho Middle School.
South Kingstown
One: South Kingstown High School.
Tiverton
One: Tiverton Middle School.
Westerly
One: Spring Brook Elementary School.
Seekonk, Mass.
Two: George R. Martin School and Seekonk High Schook. Both are available to evacuating East Bay residents.
