A public wake for Detective James Allen is scheduled for tomorrow from 4 to 8 p.m. at Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
Law enforcement officers are scheduled to walk through at 3 p.m., after gathering at Cranston High School West at 2 p.m. for transportation to the funeral home. The high school is at 80 Metropolitan Drive.
The public funeral is set for 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Church, on Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence, where Allen was a parishioner.
Law enforcement officers are asked to gather at 7 a.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in downtown Providence, from where they will be transported to the church.
A post-funeral collation will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center downtown.
