PAWTUCKET, R.I. -- Tuesday night’s concert starring Bob Dylan, plus Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp, will be held at McCoy Stadium, home of the Pawtucket Red Sox, despite the wet weather.
A spokesman for the PawSox said this afternoon that the rain that has fallen steadily through most of the day will not postpone the concert.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. Nelson is scheduled to be on at 6:10 p.m., Mellencamp at 7:35 p.m. and Dylan at 9:10. Tickets are are still available at $77.50 each. Children under 14 get in free with each adult ticket holder.
A spokesman for the PawSox said fans should dress for possible rain, but umbrellas will not be allowed in the stadium.
