Ex-Ark. governor to headline Shape-Up gala

Shape-Up Rhode Island will hold its closing ceremonies along with a wellness fair tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Rhode Island College recreation center.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who lost 120 pounds and became an advocate for anti-obesity policies, will speak. He will receive the Shape Up RI Award for National Leadership on Obesity Prevention.
The closing ceremony will celebrate the success of 7,000 participants and 750 teams who competed on the amount of weight lost, the number of exercise hours logged, or the number of steps walked.
