Man sentenced in ‘sauce’ case

NORTH KINGSTOWN — The man who broke a glass door at the Burger King on Post Road because the “zesty sauce” was left out of his order has pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of vandalism and disorderly conduct.
Christopher Lavigne, of 485 Tower Hill Rd., must pay $293.50 for the door and $200 to the violent crimes indemnity fund and show proof of 20 hours of community service, as ordered by Judge William C. Clifton in District Court yesterday.
