Squid on her plate today
01:00 AM EDT on Saturday, May 3, 2008

Rebecca Bray, vice president of the Biomes Marine Biology Center, studies and dissects a jumbo flying squid yesterday at the center in North Kingstown. The squid is about six feet long to the tips of the tentacles. A fisherman caught three of the squid off Block Island and donated them to the center. It’s not as large as the giant squid, but it is huge as squid go, Bray said.
