He beat Christian Cherau, an eight grader at Barrington Middle School, in the final round, in a tie breaker, by answering the question: To see Sandro Botticelli’s famous painting, The Birth of Venus, you would travel to which Italian city located upriver from Pisa? The answer is: Florence.
