Harrisville fire injures two people

BURRILLVILLE — Two people were taken to the hospital, both with what appeared to be minor injuries, following a house fire at 445 East Ave. yesterday.
The fire was reported at 6:17 p.m. The Harrisville Fire Department responded, and quickly brought the fire under control, the firefighter on duty last night said. The house sustained smoke damage. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the state fire marshal’s office.
