01:00 AM EDT on Friday, October 30, 2009
Landmark Medical Center has revised its visitor policy to protect patients from the spread of seasonal and H1N1 flu.
Children 18 and younger and people with flu-like symptoms will not be permitted to visit, Landmark president Richard R. Charest said Thursday.
The Lifespan network includes Rhode Island, Hasbro, Miriam, Newport and Bradley hospitals.
The policy will stay in effect until further notice.
