2 teens arrested in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN — Two Coventry teenagers were arrested early Saturday for underage drinking at the Newport Overlook hotel, at 150 Bay View Drive, where the police found about 15 young people having a party in one of the units.
While a number of the partygoers were under the legal drinking age of 21, only the two arrested — Eric Dilorenzo, 19, and a juvenile girl — had alcoholic beverages in their hands when the police entered the unit.
The police said they had been alerted by a complaint at about 12:20 a.m. that people were yelling and smashing glass in one unit of the hotel. The teenagers were from Coventry, Warwick, Hope Valley and Pascoag, the police said.
