Jason Fanion, who was pictured on the front page of Tuesday’s Journal giving a swine-flu vaccine to a student, is a full-time firefighter in the Barrington Fire Department, which is a paid department. He volunteers to administer the vaccine as part of the Rhode Island Medical Response Corps. A caption with the photo misstated his status.
