Roving Eye winners

Winners have been announced for the 2008 Roving Eye Documentary Film Festival, a sidebar of the Rhode Island International Film Festival, which ran for more than a month starting April 2 in venues across the state.
The Audience Choice Award went to the Chinese-made Shanghai Quest by director Kim Taylor.
The Roving Eye Festival Award was won by Beyond the Call, by U.S. director Adrian Belic, while Roko Belic and Ben Byer shared the cinematography award for Indestructible.
The Emerging Eye First Time Director Award went to Rhode Island co-directors Don Manley and Michel Schtakleff for Old House Soul.
Canada’s Michael Oved Dayan received an honorable mention for Glimpses of Heaven.
