Ex-Trinity actor and Frasier regular to speak at Brown

Actor Dan Butler, who once was on stage at Trinity Rep and later was a regular on TV’s Frasier, will deliver the keynote speech tomorrow at the two-day Rhode Island Film Forum at Brown University, which addresses all aspects of film production.
Butler’s film, Karl Rove, I Love You, plays at 9:30 tonight at the Columbus Theatre as part of the Rhode Island International Film Festival.
Butler’s speech will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Carmichael Auditorium, 89 Waterman St., Providence. Tickets for the Film Forum are $45 each day; $75 for both. The event is sponsored by RIIFF, Brown/RISD Hillel, the Providence/Warwick Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and Warwick Tourism.
