Somerset official’s drunk driving case held for 1 year
SOMERSET — A member of the Planning Board has had his drunk driving case held for one year, after which it will be dismissed if he stays out of trouble, according to the Fall River District Court clerk’s office.

Swansea Toys for Tots Drive
The Swansea Patrolman’s Association will hold its annual Toys for Tots toy drive beginning Nov. 22. Donations of new and unused toys and games will be accepted through Dec. 17. The toys will be distributed through the holiday to those less fortunate during these hard economic times.

Case Junior High School News
First term report cards were distributed to students Nov. 7. Also, Parent/Teacher Conference Nights will be held Nov. 17 for Divisions C, E, O, L and U and Nov. 19 for Divisions G, D, A, S and U from 6 to 8 p.m. Parents are encouraged not to bring children and/or students to the conference. Parents who choose to bring children are expected to supervise them at all times. PTO membership forms will be available for anyone who would like to join.
