Closed dates: Gerry’s Place, the student-operated restaurant at Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School, 147 Pond St., will be closed to the public today, March 15 and March 29.

Going Green: The second in a series of Renewable Energy Forums will be held tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. at Quinn Elementary School auditorium, 529 Hawthorne St., Dartmouth. The topic will be “Going Green: A sustainable approach to residential design and construction.”

Fall River

Garden Club meeting: The Fall River Garden Club will meet today at 9:30 a.m. in the Union United Methodist Church 600 Highland Ave. The club’s featured guest will be Shannon Merlino, owner of Edible Fruit.

Rehoboth

Seniors celebrate: The Rehoboth Senior Citizens Club will hold a St. Patrick’s Day celebration Thursday at the Venus de Milo restaurant, 75 G.A.R. Highway, at noon. Admission is $10 for members and $17 for others.

Seekonk

Pneumonia and tetanus immunizations: Pneumonia and tetanus immunizations will be available by appointment tomorrow at Seekonk Town Hall in the Selectmen’s room, 100 Peck St. The immunizations are available to those individuals 65 or older, or younger with certain medical conditions. Somerset

Trip to Foxwoods: The Somerset Council on Aging will offer a trip to Foxwoods Thursday. Participants will meet at the council, 115 Wood St. for a 6:45 a.m. departure. The cost is $17 each. Call (508) 646-2833, for reservations.

Jazz band festival: Somerset High School will host its annual Jazz Band Festival tomorrow at 5 p.m. at Somerset High School auditorium, 270 Grandview Ave. Featured will be performances by bands from Case, Dartmouth, Durfee, Mount Hope, Portsmouth, Seekonk, Somerset and Tiverton high schools. Tickets, $4 for adults, $2 for students, will be available at the door.

Swansea

Story time: Swansea Free Public Library, 69 Main St., will offer story timefor children ages 2½ to 5 tomorrow at 11:30 a.m.
