Retired employees meeting: The Retired Employees of Charlton Memorial Hospital will hold its quarterly meeting Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Charlton Memorial Hospital, 363 Highland Ave. All CMH retirees are welcome.
Dog licenses: Dog licenses were due and payable April 1. Any dog license not paid by May 31 will be assessed a $12 per dog late fee in addition to the license fee.
License fees are: male or female dog, $10; spayed or neutered, $5. Proof of current rabies inoculation and spaying/neutering is required. Licenses can be purchased at the town clerk’s office or obtained through the mail. Send appropriate documentation, check — payable to the Town of Rehoboth — and a stamped self-addressed envelope to the Town Clerk’s Office, 148 Peck St.
Swing dancing: Seekonk Public Library, 410 Newman Ave., will have free swing dance lessons on Tuesdays in May and June.
Participants can take one or both of the four-week sessions. Swing dance lesson times and dates are: East Coast Swing — Tuesdays 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., April 24, May 1, 15 and 29; and Charleston and Lindy Hop — Tuesdays 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., June 5, 12, 19 and 26.
Classes are open to SAILS library cardholders. To register or for more information, contact the Adult Services Department at 336-8230, ext. 130.
At the Council on Aging: Bob the Shoe Man will be at the Council on Aging Senior Center, 115 Wood St., to fit anyone with diabetic shoes or answer questions related to diabetes. Appointments are not required.
