Classes reunite: A reunion that includes the Bishop Stang High School classes of 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997 and 2002 is set for Thanksgiving weekend. All current and former teachers and staff are also invited to join the graduates. Friday night activities at Hawthorne Country Club in Dartmouth will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by class photos at 6:45 p.m. and a buffet at 7:30 p.m. The party will continue with time for visiting and dancing right up until midnight. Reservations must be made by Wednesday and paid in advance. Register online at www.bishopstang.com, or call the Alumni Office at 996-5602, ext. 430.

Seekonk
Thanksgiving service: Seekonk Congregational Church, 600 Fall River Ave., will hold two Thanksgiving worship celebrations on Sunday. The first will be held at 9:30 a.m. and the second will be held at 10:30 a.m.
The service will be fashioned after the early Pilgrim worship, with five grains given in remembrance of the first Thanksgiving and children in preschool through grade eight participating in worship. Those attending are asked to bring canned and boxed goods to fill holiday food baskets.
Flu clinic: Seekonk Board of Health will hold a high-risk flu clinic Wednesday. The clinic for Seekonk residents is by appointment only.
Vaccine recipients must meet one of the following criteria: any resident over age 65; any resident less than age 65 with a chronic medical condition such as heart or lung disease, including asthma; regular medical follow up or hospitalization in the past year because of a chronic metabolic disease such as diabetes; blood disorders like anemia; a weakened immune system caused for example by cancer or cancer treatment, HIV/AIDS, steroid therapy; certain conditions such as neuromuscular disorders that can cause breathing problems, or women who will be pregnant anytime during flu season. (Flu vaccine for pregnant women can be administered in any trimester.) Also eligible for vaccinations are health-care personnel who provide direct patient care and caregivers of children less than 6 months old.

Somerset
Window etching and bake sale: A window etching and bake sale will be held tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Somerset Fire Department, 465 County St. The bake sale will be run by Somerset Council on Aging’s TRIAD group and all proceeds will go to TRIAD. Window etchings cost $10.
Swansea
Cookbook: Members and friends of First Baptist Church, 21 Baptist St., have gathered their favorite recipes for a cookbook, Seasoned by Grace.
Proceeds will benefit the church’s 350th anniversary celebration in 2013. Call 252-6296 or 336-8837 to order the cookbook. The book costs $20 plus $4.50 for shipping and handling.
Westport
Holiday party: The fraternities and sororities at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth will hold its 37th Senior Citizens Holiday Party for the surrounding communities Dec. 1 and Westport residents have been invited to the second service at 3:30 p.m. The doors open at 3 p.m. The event will include dinner followed by music and dancing.
Students are asking seniors to bring a new children’s book with them. The books will be donated to local children to increase literacy within the greater New Bedford area. Collection boxes will be available in the campus center for those seniors who are able to contribute.
Westport senior residents who would like to attend should call the Westport Council on Aging at 636-1026 or stop by the Westport Council on Aging by Tuesday.
