How to share photos of your fundraiser
01:00 AM EDT on Sunday, September 28, 2008
We have created a new, easy way for Journal readers to share photographs of charity fundraising events by posting them at www.projo.com/lifebeat.
Just click on our user slideshow link and upload your photos directly from your computer or camera. Don’t forget to fully identify both your charitable organization’s title and the people in your photo, from left to right. You’ll need to add the date and location of the party. Please tell us how many people attended and how much money was raised, if you know. The best photos include no more than three or four people.
Note from the Journal visuals staff: If you want your photos to appear online as part of a slideshow or to be published in the Sunday Lifebeat section, they should be saved in JPEG format and should be 200 dpi, at least 4-by-6 in size. Readers submitting photos will be asked to sign a release granting The Journal permission to publish in the paper or online.
Photos of fundraisers will continue to be accepted for publication by e-mail at society@projo.com.
For more information, e-mail Michael Delaney, visuals managing editor, at mdelaney@projo.com.
