Ishi Dojo Youth Center party benefits at-risk children

Channel 12’s Karen Adams acted as auctioneer at a party that featured children performing martial arts.
It was called Summer Solstice, and it was, naturally, on June 21. About $38,000 was raised for the Ishi Dojo Youth Center for at-risk children in Providence’s inner city. The event, at the Westin Hotel, was chaired by Dianne Piccoli of Jamestown.
