Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education, which offers scholarship and mentoring programs for children of incarcerated parents, netted $10,000 at a party on May 2 at Restaurant Prov.
The get-together, attended by about 100, was themed around the Kentucky Derby, and, naturally, there were rounds of mint juleps, red velvet cake and lots of hats.
