The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Rhode Island presented a special award Nov. 19 to Dorothy Desaulniers and Susan Richardson in appreciation of contributions to the Frank Decedric Trust, from which six wishes were granted in recent years. The foundation’s annual auction and dinner, a "Season of Wishes," was held at Roger Williams Park Casino, raising $12,000 for children with life-threatening medical conditions. This year’s event also honored the R.I. Chapter’s first wish child, Danny, who died recently.
