06/05/2008 01:00 AM EDT
Go wild in Warwick. The Animal Planet Expo is Saturday and Sunday in Goddard Memorial State Park. There will be large-screen (16 feet by 19 feet) video presentations. There will be a demonstration of Frisbee-catching dogs. And there will be an introduction to a variety of exotic animals, all courtesy of the Animal Planet network.
There will also be children’s activities: face painting, an obstacle course, a slide and a climbing structure.
Admission is free. Pets are welcome.
The event is Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The park is located at 1095 Ives Rd. in Warwick.
