Amber Tamblyn shooting a movie in Wickford

06/06/2006 01:00 AM EDT

Amber Tamblyn, star of the Joan of Arcadia TV series, started shooting the feature film Normal Adolescent Behavior in Wickford yesterday.

Production will run for 19 days through the end of the month "and we're already three hours behind," said harried co-producer Pilar DeMann yesterday from the movie's set. The movie will also shoot scenes at the Rocky Hill School in East Greenwich and in the Providence area. "We're the smallest budgeted, smallest film with the smallest crew being shot in Rhode Island right now," said DeMann with a laugh, when asked to estimate how much money the film would pump into the local economy. She added that she and her crew have "been in pre-production for over a month" in the area. Her father, executive producer Freddy DeMann, was also involved in the film Hard Luck, which was filmed in Rhode Island last winter with Wesley Snipes and Cybill Shepherd. Normal Adolescent Behavior, DeMann said, is "about high school seniors, dating, relationships, coming of age." It's being directed by Beth Schacter, who is making her first feature film following a stint at a theater company in New York. DeMann added that the independent production has a "negative film pickup" deal with New Line Cinema, which means "if they like it, they'll release it." Tamblyn, daughter of actor Russ Tamblyn, completed the film Grudge 2 before coming to Rhode Island. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will give the world its first peek at their newborn daughter by releasing photos of Shiloh Nouvel, with profits going to charity.

"While we celebrate the joy of the birth of our daughter, we recognize that 2 million babies born every year in the developing world die on the first day of their lives," the couple said in a joint statement.

The images, taken at a private photo shoot, will be distributed by Getty Images, the photo agency said yesterday. Getty Images spokeswoman Deb Trevino said the family would later name the charity that will receive the funds. She would not disclose how much the photos were being sold for, or when they would be distributed.

Oprah Winfrey is about to receive the custom-built, $42-million executive jet she ordered from Bombardier Aerospace, a Canadian newspaper reported.

The talk-show host's production company, Harpo, is paying for the Global Express XRS jet, which will have seating for about 10 passengers, the Montreal newspaper La Presse reported.

The plane will have leather interior and designer fixtures for the bathroom and galley, among other high-end trimmings.

Bombardier's line of executive jets have proved popular with the rich and famous. Director Steven Spielberg and computer mogul Bill Gates both reportedly have models of the Global Express jet.
