Grant provider has opportunities for all

The Corporation for National and Community Service plays a vital role in supporting the American culture of citizenship, service and responsibility. They are a supporter for the ideal that every American has skills and talents to give. CNCS is the nation’s largest grant-maker supporting service and volunteering. Through their many programs, including the AmeriCorps, CNCS provides opportunities for Americans of all ages and backgrounds to address critical community needs.
VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America), a program of the AmeriCorps, seek U.S. citizens 18 and over for a variety of national service, full-time assignments. These positions are Rhode Island-based and assist a variety of organizations throughout the state. Participants receive a living stipend as well as health benefits and an education award after the completion of a full term of service.
