RONSON, LOHAN

DJ Samantha Ronson will host a Halloween night party at Pearl Restaurant & Lounge at 393 Charles St., Providence, where she is expected to be joined by her friend, actress Lindsay Lohan.

A restaurant spokesman confirms the two are expected for dinner about 9 p.m. before the party begins. There is no cover charge during the dinner hours but advance tickets for the Pearl party are $25.

The two friends have been spotted together at similar party events of late. Ronson has spun at the American Music Awards and the Video Music Awards and Lohan has starred in films since childhood including Freaky Friday and Mean Girls and most recently guess starred on the television show Ugly Betty.

Julianne Hough of Dancing with the Stars, who last week said she had to be taken to the ER now says on her Web site that she “has been diagnosed with endometriosis and will be undergoing minor surgery to remove her appendix.”

“Endometriosis is the development of uterine-lining tissue outside the uterus on the surfaces of organs in the pelvis or abdomen where they are not supposed to grow,” Hough’s statement says. Hough, 20, is also a fledgling country warbler.
