Celtic connections
Many cultures are calling. Pendragon, a five-member band now in its 25th year, playing contemporary music with old-fashioned roots in the traditions of Ireland, Scotland and French Canada, performs tonight on the lawn outside the John Brown House Museum, 52 Power St., Providence. The Rhode Island Historical Society presents its “Concert Under the Elms.” The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $8, and free for those 12 and younger and members of the Rhode Island Historical Society and their children. No pets are permitted.
