WATSON
In the fall, Emma Watson will not be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She’ll be attending Brown University, according to the Guardian newspaper in England. Watson is known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies. And the newspaper’s source for its report was Daniel Radcliffe. He’s Watson’s cinematic co-star, Harry Potter himself.
In an interview with a reporter, Radcliffe talked about how smart Watson is, and to prove his point mentioned that she’s going to Brown. Watson grudgingly admitted to the paper that what Radcliffe said was true, confirming rumors that had been circulating for weeks. And she said she hoped that the disclosure wouldn’t spoil her chance to have the same collegiate experience as others in her Brown class of 2013. “I want to be normal. I really want anonymity. I want to do it properly, like everyone else. As long as I don’t walk in and see, like, Harry Potter posters everywhere, I’ll be fine.”
In previous reports, including in this month’s TeenVogue, Watson has said that she’s interested in studying English literature and art.
