Farm fun for Mom
There’s a harvest happening today. The greenhouse crop of Casey Farm in Saunderstown is ripe for the picking. You can purchase plants, herbs and heirloom and organic vegetables at the farm’s annual Mother’s Day weekend sale. There will be free activities for children; tours of the 18th-century farm’s house museum are $4. The plant sale is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The farm is at 2325 Boston Neck Rd., overlooking Narragansett Bay. For more information, call (401) 295-1030.
