01:08 PM EST on Tuesday, October 31, 2006
Sorry we're a little late getting the results up this week for the boys soccer player of the week poll.
The winner this week is Dylan Mello, a freshman Portsmouth Patriot who scored two goals on Tuesday last week to lead his team to a 3-1 victory over Barrington. Mello received 1,167 of the 1,464 votes cast.
Finishing a distant second was Classical's Oscar Zorilla, who achieved a hat trick on Oct. 23 against Scituate. Zorilla received 241 votes.
Brad Clark of Toll Gate won the previous week's poll. The boys soccer poll runs every week from Thursday to Monday.
