Advertising Frequently Asked Questions 1. Where are the classified ads? From the navigation bar on all its pages, projo.com offers a link to all classified sections. You may also go directly to the main classified page at: http://www.projo.com/classifieds/. There, you will find a search feature that will let you browse classifieds from The Providence Journal – including display classifieds – in several ways. When are classified ads placed on projo.com, and how long do they remain online? Classifieds go online at 4 a.m. on the same day as newspaper publication. They are updated every 24 hours and are available for seven days. When an ad runs more than one day, that ad will be available for seven days after the last date of publication in the newspaper. Listings from projo.com's advertising partners may remain online for different periods of time. For more information, see our Search Tips. 3. Can I search for a classified ad in the Archives? The archives section of projo.com does not include classified ads. Back to top of Advertising FAQs 4. Can I place a classified ad via the Web site? If not, how do I place a classified ad? If you are selling an item valued at less than $200, you can place an ad online for free. Simply fill out the form, and your ad will appear online for seven days after it has been reviewed and published -- usually within 24 hours on business days.
