Only a few restaurants will serve on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Here’s the list. Call ahead to make sure they have room.

Providence

Andreas Restaurant, 268 Thayer St., (401) 331-7879, andreasri.com, will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Christmas Day from 5 p.m. to midnight with full dinner menu and specials and drinks until 1 a.m.

The Blue Grotto, 210 Atwells Ave., (401) 272-9030, will be offering the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve from noon to 9 p.m. in addition to the regular dinner menu.

Caffe Dolce Vita, DePasquale Plaza, will be open on Christmas Eve for brunch from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and for lunch from 2 to 5 p.m.

CafÉ Paragon, 234 Thayer St., (401) 331-6200, will be open Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. serving brunch and Christmas Day from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Carrie’s, 1035 Douglas Ave., (401) 751-9164, will be open Christmas Eve from noon to 8 p.m. with calamari, smelts, baccala salad, baked or fried fish and more available for take-out or to eat in.

CAV, 14 Imperial Place, (401) 751-9164, will be open for dinner Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. There will be a fixed-price three-course dinner weekdays Sunday through Thursday and a bistro fixed-price with salad and four choices of entrees for $16.95.

Kabob and Curry, 261 Thayer St., (401) 273-8844, will be open Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant, in the Providence Biltmore Hotel, 11 Dorrance St., (401) 351-4500, will be open Christmas Eve from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Christmas Day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and special holiday items such as stuffed quahogs, calamari with hot peppers, and linguini with clam sauce.

Mediterraneo, 134 Atwells Ave., (401) 331-7760, will serve its regular menu, along with some fish specials, on Christmas Eve from 2 to 10 p.m.

Pane e Vino, 365 Atwells Ave., Providence, (401) 223-2230, will be offering their annual Italian La Vagilia menu for $34 on Christmas Eve from noon to 9 p.m.

Raphael Bar-Risto, 1 Union Station, (401) 421-4646, is taking Christmas Eve reservations from 11:30 a.m. 8 p.m. for the Feast of the Seven Fishes.

Red Stripe, 465 Angell St., (401) 437-6950, will serve the regular dinner menu from 4 to 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Twist on Angell, 500 Angell St., (401) 831-4500, serves on Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Zooma Bar Ristorante, 245 Atwells Ave., Providence, (401) 383-2002, will be open Christmas Eve serving from noon to 9 p.m.

Newport Area

Asterisk, 599 Thames St., Newport, will serve dinner Christmas Eve from noon to 11 p.m. Call (401) 841-8833.

The Bay Voyage Inn, 150 Conanicus Ave., Jamestown, will serve a holiday buffet Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $47.95 for adults and $15.95 for children under 10. Children under 3 eat free. Call (401) 423-2100.

Castle Hill Inn & Resort, 590 Ocean Drive, Newport, will be open Christmas Eve from 2 to 5:45 p.m. There will also be a Christmas Day buffet served from noon to 4 p.m. The cost is $75 for adults and $24 for children. Advance reservations required. Call (401) 849-3800.

Clarke Cooke House, Bannister’s Wharf, Newport, will serve lunch Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 11 p.m. Christmas dinner will be served from 5 to 10 p.m. For reservations and more information, call (401) 849-2900.

The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar, Sayer’s Wharf, Newport, offers holiday specials for Christmas Eve from 2 to 8 p.m., in addition to the Mooring’s regular menu. Call (401) 846-2260 or visit mooringrestaurant.com.

One Bellevue at Hotel Viking, Newport, will be open for Christmas Eve lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner at 5:30. A three-course menu will be offered on Christmas Day at 12:30, 3 and 5 p.m. for $49.99 per person; $18 children ages 4 to 11 (free for ages 3 and under). To reserve, call (401) 848-4824.

Sardella’s Restaurant, 30 Memorial Blvd., Newport, will serve dinner Christmas Eve from 5 to 10 p.m. and Christmas Day from 3 to 8 p.m. For reservations, call (401) 849-6312.

The Spiced Pear at The Chanler Hotel, Newport, (401) 847-1300, offers a four-course meal Christmas Eve from 5 to 8 p.m. for $95 for adults and $60 for children with $40 for wine pairings.

22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille, Newport, will be open Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., with lunch served until 3:30 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. Call (401) 841-8884 or visit 22bowens.com.

North

Faial Restaurant, 970 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, (401) 231-1100, diningquest.com/faial, is open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The regular menu will be served including prime rib dinner. They are also open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, noon to 9 p.m.

Il Piccolo Ristorante, 1450 Atwood Ave., Johnston, (401) 421-9843, will serve lunch only on Christmas Eve, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

LJ’s BBQ, 727 East Ave., Pawtucket, (401) 305-5255, ljsbbq.com., will be open regular hours Christmas Eve until about 9 p.m.

Oki Japanese Steak House, 1270 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, (401) 728-7972, will be open Christmas Eve from 5 to 10 p.m. serving the regular Hibachi menu along with the sushi bar menu.

Pinelli’s Cucina and The Grille, 900 Victory Highway, North Smithfield, (401) 767-2444, will serve the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve, noon to 8 p.m., along with the regular menu.

Rasoi, 727 East Ave., Pawtucket, (401) 728-5500, will be open Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Riviera Inn Restaurant, 580 North Broadway, East Providence, (401) 431-9231, will have Christmas Eve take-out service and will serve Christmas Day from noon to 5 p.m. They are open New Year’s Eve from noon to 11 p.m. and New Year’s Day from noon to 5 p.m.

West Bay

Chive Blossom Catering of Cranston offers meals to go for the holidays including a seafood dinner for Christmas Eve. They also offer full-service parties. A menu of hors d’oeuvres, starters, entrees, side dishes and desserts are available. Call (401) 447-9505.

The Grille on Main, 50 Main St., East Greenwich, (401) 885-2200, will serve its regular menu Christmas Eve until 8 p.m.

Sogno Ristorante and Bar, 961 Dyer Ave., Cranston, (401) 946-3335, will be open on Christmas Eve from 4 to 10 p.m. serving its regular menu and La Vigilia — The Feast of the Seven Fishes. All menu items also available for take-out. Sogno is owned by Ezio Gentile, former owner of the Sunflower Cafe.

Twist Restaurant, 727 Bald Hill Rd., Warwick, (401) 734-4440, will be open Christmas Eve until 6 p.m. serving their regular menu plus holiday specials.

East Bay

The Lobster Pot, 119-121 Hope St. (Route 114), Bristol, (401) 253-9100, will be open Christmas Eve from 5 to 10 p.m.

South County

Shelter Harbor Inn, 10 Wagner Rd., Westerly, (401) 322-8883, will be open Christmas Eve from 4 to 10 p.m. and will serve a four-course Christmas Day dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Venice Restaurant, 165 Shore Rd., Westerly, will be open Christmas Eve from 4 to 10 p.m. and the skybox is open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. They are closed Christmas Day.

Massachusetts

Audrey’s Restaurant at the Johnson & Wales Inn, Route 44, Seekonk, will be open Christmas Eve from 4 to 8 p.m. with its regular menu. Call (508) 336-4636.

Coachmen’s Lodge, 273 Wrentham Rd., Bellingham, is open Christmas Day with seatings at noon, 2, 4 and 5 p.m. They have chicken family-style, prime rib, baked stuffed shrimp and more. Meals range from $16.95 with a children’s menu. They are also open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Connecticut

Octagon, 625 North Rd., Groton, (860) 326-0360, octagonsteakhouse.com, offers the regular menu for Christmas Eve and Christmas Night during their regular hours.

Mohegan Sun venues such as Fidelia’s, Bamboo Forest, Todd English’s Tuscany and Birches Bar & Grill will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with their normal operating hours. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (888) 226-7711.

Dinner to Go

Radisson Airport Hotel, 2081 Post Rd., Warwick, and the Johnson & Wales Inn, 213 Taunton Ave., Seekonk, Mass., offers Christmas Dinner to Go. These prepared packages include a roast turkey, baked ham or prime rib of beef, soup, vegetables, breads and a Yule Log cake. The meal ranges from $145 to $175 and serves 10 to 12 people. Reservations due by noon on Friday, Dec. 21, with pick-up between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Christmas Day. To reserve at the Radisson call (401) 739-3000 and from Johnson & Wales Inn at (508) 336-8700.
