Kenyon’s Harvest Festival Oct. 24-25

Kenyon’s Grist Mill Harvest Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 24 and 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the mill, 21 Glen Rock Rd., West Kingston, (800) 7-KENYON, kenyonsgristmill.com. The event will feature free admission, parking, mill tours and food samples, including kettle corn popcorn and jonnycakes as well as locally roasted coffee, oysters, sausage and cheese, local bread, biscotti, ice cream and more. There will be wine tasting on Saturday with Langworthy Farm Winery.
Vendors will sell food, jewelry, soaps and other items. They include: Ice Pond Farm Alpacas, Chocolate Delicacy, Stony Hill Cattle Company, Ma & Pa’s Country Store, Farmers of America, Matunuck Oyster Farm, Hopkins Farms, Celestial Café Restaurant, Stamp Farms, Forge River Farm, Updike’s Newtowne Coffee, Trail’s End Farm, Sophie’s Ice Cream, Fortuna’s Sausage Co., Poblano Farm (Sunday), Rhody Fresh, Kettle Corn Express, The Farmer’s Daughter, Daddy’s Bread, Lynne’s Dolce e Pane Biscotti, Granny Squibbs’s Lemon/Mint Tea and Hannah Brook Farm (Saturday).
Participants are asked to bring a food donation for the Rhode Island Food Bank or clothing for the Johnnycake Center. Free shuttle buses are available at the Richmond Antique Center and the Washington County Fairgrounds.
