Recipe: Braised Green Beans with Tomatoes
01:00 AM EST on Wednesday, November 14, 2007
A simple, savory green vegetable dish, such a braised green beans with tomatoes, is an excellent way to offset the complex flavors of most Thanksgiving meals.
This dish is easily prepared up to three days in advance (wait to add the parsley until ready to serve). Keep the cooked beans tightly covered in the refrigerator, then reheat on the stovetop or in a 350-degree oven for about 20 to 30 minutes.
