Discover hidden gems
01:00 AM EDT on Wednesday, August 20, 2008
To learn more at home about Providence’s hidden food gems, visit the city’s providenceri.com/nm and there you’ll find “The Neighborhood Markets Program,” an economic development project.
On the Web site are descriptions of seven neighborhood areas. Atwells Avenue, Chalkstone Avenue, Cranston Street, Broad Street, Charles Street, Olneyville Square, and Wickenden and Ives are described online as well as in a pamphlet available at local markets.
Also, all the Taste of the Neighborhood stories appear at www.projo.com/food.
