Recipe : Grand Marnier Chocolate Chip Cake

GRAND MARNIER CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE
1 cup melted butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1/3 cup Grand Marnier
Zest of 1 orange, finely zested
Juice of 1 orange, freshly squeezed
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup sour cream
12-inch round cake pan
Grease cake pan with butter and flour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter until creamy and add to a mixing bowl with sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, Grand Marnier, orange juice and zest and mix well.
Then add to the mixing bowl, flour, baking soda, baking powder and mix in well.
Add to the mixing bowl extracts and sour cream. Mix well. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Top the batter with Chocolate Chip Topping, recipe follows. Bake for 50-55 minutes at 350 degrees or until cake tester inserted comes out clean.
Garnish with freshly sliced oranges or orange zest and powdered sugar.
Best served warm.
