On Dec. 7,
1941, the Japanese launched a surprise
and devastating
attack on the military base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, spurring the United States'
entry into World War II. The following sites provide historical documentation
on the attack and current-day information on a memorial to its victims, as well
as links related to last spring's movie, Pearl Harbor.

Fore River Shipyard in Quincy, Mass., in 1941, the Battleship Massachusetts
served throughout World War II. She now welcomes visitors as one of five National
Register of Historic Places ships in Battleship Cove in Fall River, Mass.
