What's next for you?
In fall of 2007, I will
attend college, majoring in the sciences. My career goal is
to become a research/hospital pharmacist.
What aspect of college are you most looking forward to? What
aspect makes you anxious?
I am looking forward to meeting people from all around the
world at college. I am very interested in learning about other
cultures as well as my own. Although I am extremely excited
about going to college, I am anxious about the transition
from high school to college.
What do you hope to be doing in 10
years?
In ten years, I hope to be working as a hospital/research
pharmacist at an acclaimed company.
What words do you live by?
“You only live once, so live life to the fullest.”
If I weren't
so busy I would:
... travel the world and go sight-seeing.
What is your
most vivid high school memory?
My ninth grade pep rally is my most vivid high school memory.
I remember walking into the high school gymnasium with my
school band. Maroon and white balloons and streamers decorated
the entire room, and ornate class posters were hung all over
the walls. I stood on the bleachers and played the flute with
the band, and I watched the show put on by the sports and
extracurricular clubs. I was amazed by the great show of pride
and school spirit put forth by the student body, and I was
glad to be a part of it.
What will you
miss most about your high school days?
I will miss the general high school experience: meeting new
people, forming lasting friendships, taking challenging courses,
joining several extracurricular activities, and so on and
so forth. You only experience high school once, so you should
cherish the four years you have there.
What would people be surprised to
learn about you?
People would be surprised to learn that I have had
perfect attendance in school since the first grade.
How concerned are you about the environment?

If you could write a letter to your
ninth grade self, what advice would you give?
If I could write a letter to my ninth-grade self,
I would advise myself not to be so caught up with grades and
to take in and absorb every moment of high school. After all,
four years fly by very quickly.
