What's next for you?
I'll be working at Shelter
Harbor Golf Course as a caddie for the summer. I'll be going
to the University of Connecticut (UConn) and will be studying
physiology and neurobiology
What aspect of college are you most looking forward to? What
aspect makes you anxious?
I can't wait for the college life such as the free food, intramural
sports, and the buffet style food. I am most anxious about
the fall semester and how busy my schedule will become.
What do you hope to be doing in 10
years?
I hope to be an internist at a hospital (MD).
What words do you live by?
Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to
do but doesn't get you anywhere. Tomorrow is another day
If I weren't
so busy I would:
Plan to go to a sky diving course.
What is your
most vivid high school memory?
My most vivid high school memory is just being in a class
with kids who enjoy the class and teacher. With that kind
of setup anything can go. Also, cross country practice was
a blast because everyday brought something new.
What will you miss
most about your high school days?
The freedom and seniority at my high school. Once I go to
college, I'll be at the bottom of the totem pole again.
What would people be surprised to
learn about you?
I did vaulting (gymnastics on horseback) for 6 years,
and I went to national vaulting competitions in Denver, CO. I was only in elementary school and middle school when I
did this
How concerned are you about the environment?
Concerned enough to learn about it and its potential
consequences.
What worries you most about the environment?
The global warming is on the top of list. For example,
how many snow days did southern RI have this winter? None.
.
If you could write a letter to your
ninth grade self, what advice would you give?
Prepare to be yourself and your work ethic could
be better.
