What's next for you?
I am going to Providence
College next year to study biology.
What aspect of college are you most looking forward to? What
aspect makes you anxious?
I am looking forward most to finding a place in a collegiate
community shaped by the Dominican identity, and making some
more good friends. I am anxious about trying to stay afloat
in spite of a great deal of work and a high level of thinking.
I must admit that I am also cautiously looking forward to
this, as well.
What do you hope to be doing in 10
years?
In ten years, I hope to be living in East Providence, and
preparing to have family. Working as a biologist or a biology
teacher wouldn't be bad either.
What words do you live by?
Carpe Puellas - Goramus
If I weren't so
busy I would:
get a little bit more sleep.
What is your most
vivid high school memory?
What I recal is one of my favorite classes: Adaptive (Partner's)
Physical Education, followed closely by cross-country and
cramming for AP Biology.
What will you miss
most about your high school days?
Miss about high school - Knowing most kids and teachers at
school, and the sense of community - the Townie Pride - that
only a high school provides.
What would people be surprised to learn
about you?
That I am a big Lemony Snicket fan
How concerned are you about the environment?
Not really concerned at all.
What worries you most about the environment?
Global warming
If you could write a letter to your ninth
grade self, what advice would you give?
The best advice I could give my ninth-grade self
would be to be grateful for each day, because time moves far
too quickly; that is, to savor these final fleeting years
of childhood.
