Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center will hold commencement for its 10th graduating class at 6 p.m. in the Providence Performing Arts Center. The Met School, which has about 690 high school students at three campuses in the state, will present 162 diplomas. Melissa “Chez” Sanchez and Ariel Mercedes will be the student speakers. Graduates Lucey Ok, who will attend the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science in the fall, and Nery Coronado, who is going to the University of Massachusetts-Boston, were selected for Gates Millennium Scholarships. South Kingstown High School will hold commencement for 290 graduates at 6 p.m. in the University of Rhode Island’s Ryan Center. Carolyn Vincent is the valedictorian.
