NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. — As the St. Joseph School of Nursing commencement wore on, Iveta Estrella heard her name over and over.

Estrella, of Rehoboth, a mother of two young children, was honored repeatedly with numerous awards — including the Bishop Russell J. “She’s an extremely bright young lady, very dedicated, very hard working, very motivated,” said Carol F. Ross, acting director for the nursing school, which is part of Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. “She’s exceptional.”
