Gosselin opens campaign
Town Council member David Gosselin Jr. recently began his campaign for reelection to his second term representing Ward 2 in West Warwick.
“Since my first campaign as the new face in the race, I have been an intricate part of this Town Council moving in a new direction,” Gosselin said in a press release.
He pointed to the council hiring new leadership, the road work going on throughout the town, and the new developments, such as the hotel water park, coming to town. If reelected, Gosselin said he plans to work to secure a public park for the Phenix area of town and continue to fight for fiscal responsibility and low taxes for taxpayers.
Calci plans fundraiser
Town Council Acting President Peter F. Calci Jr. is hosting a fundraising dinner reception tomorrow from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Nino’s Restaurant in Coventry. Tickets are $30 per person and are available at the door.
Calci is seeking his third term as the town’s Ward 5 representative.
