JOHNSTON -- The family of Lisa Marie Scott, who survived the fire
at the Station Nightclub and was killed in a fall exactly six months
later, has created a charitable fund in her memory.
Residents and well-wishers can make donations to the Lisa Marie Scott
Memorial Fund at any Citizens Bank branch office, her family said.
Donations will be used to provide relief to Scott's husband, James, and
their three young children.
Scott, 33, had gone to The Station on Feb. 20, to see a friend, Steve
Mancini, perform in the band Fathead, the opening act. Scott worked with
Mancini at Stop & Shop. He perished in the fire.
In August, on the six-month anniversary of the blaze that killed 100
people, Scott died after she apparently fell down a flight of stairs in
her home and hit her head.
