Jack White and Mark Kendall of the band Great White, whose pyrotechnics set off the disastrous fire at The Station nightclub, are scheduled to appear tonight on Larry King Live.

The appearance comes less than two weeks before the two-year anniversary of the fire, which broke out on the night of Feb. 20, 2003, at the West Warwick club. One hundred people died and more than 200 were hurt in the state's worst fire and one of the worst nightclub fires in the country's history.

The talk show, which airs on CNN, starts at 9 p.m. ET.

Russell, the leader singer for Great White, is refusing to answer the federal civil suits filed against him by victims of The Station nightclub fire because, he says, he still fears that he may be criminally charged in connection with the fire.

The club's owners, Michael and Jeffrey Derderian, and former concert tour manager Daniel Biechele, are each facing 200 counts of involuntary omanslaughter in connection with the fire.

There are currently eight civil lawsuits pending in U.S. District Court, Providence, on behalf of victims of The Station fire and their survivors.
