Kristen Domenico of Newport and Daniel Smith of Middletown were married June 24 at St. Lucy's Church, Middletown, by the Rev. Eugene McKenna. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Domenico of Smithfield. The groom is the son of the late Fredrick William Smith Jr. and Gail Smith of Middletown.
Jennifer Carvalho, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Lindsay D'Amato, sister of the bride, Lauren Fleury, Ruth Duval and Blair Cashmon. The best man was Paul Davis. The ushers were William Smith, Chris Smith and Craig Smith, brothers of the groom, and Joseph Domenico, brother of the bride.
The bride received a master of science degree in physical therapy at Wheeling Jesuit University, Wheeling, West Va. She is a physical therapist at Visiting Nurse Services of Newport County. The groom graduated from Salve Regina University. He is a firefighter for the Town of Portsmouth. They honeymooned in Puerto Morales, Mexico, and make their home in Portsmouth.
