St. Thomas More Church, Narragansett, was the setting May 1 for the wedding of Kristen Marie McClanaghan and Christopher Thomas Kardos. The Most Rev. Robert E. Mulvee, Bishop of Providence; the Most Rev. Louis E. Gelineau, Bishop Emeritus of Providence; and the Rev. John Halloran officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. McClanaghan of Narragansett. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kardos of Cromwell, Conn.
Susan Reeves was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Lisa Gaffney, Megan Higgins and Jennifer McClanaghan. The best man for his brother was Bryan Kardos. The ushers were James Giannotti, David Jonas, Robert Lifford, Alan McClanaghan, brother of the bride, and Brian McKenna.
The bride graduated from Boston College and is studying for a master's degree at New York University. She is employed at Beginning With Children Charter School, Brooklyn, N.Y. The groom graduated from Boston College. He is employed at Straticom International, New York. They visited the Mayan Riviera, Mexico, on their honeymoon and make their home in Brooklyn.
