Stephen Abbott, son of George and Cheryl Abbott of Hopkinton, is seen with a college official at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV, where he entered medical school this year. A graduate of URI and First Baptist Christian Academy in Warwick, Stephen hopes to specialize in surgery, according to his mother. He's wearing the first lab coat he received as a student there.
