Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge, at the former US Navy Auxiliary Land Field. This is the Charlestown Runway Trail and follows the old runway around the refuge and over to Ninigret Pond. Easy, level hiking trail with great scenery and lots of wildlife. It has been replanted with native grasses and plants. Great for bird watching. Much of this area is wheelchair accessable.
